The AFTES (French Association for Tunnels and Underground Space) is pleased to announce that its next International Congress will be held from October 12 to 14, 2026, at Lille Grand Palais.
Following the success of the 2023 edition, which brought together more than 3,000 participants, we look forward to welcoming even more of you in 2026 for three days of discussions, innovation, and discovery!
2026 Congress Theme: "New Challenges Underground Solutions"
Underground infrastructure provides effective solutions to major environmental, economic, and urban challenges. This congress will highlight its full potential.

This congress is a unique opportunity for all underground sector stakeholders—decision-makers, project owners, infrastructure managers, designers, builders, suppliers—to share their experiences and projects through six key themes.
The following 6 topics address the technical, environmental, occupational safety, economic and urban issues of underground works, while allowing to reflecton the future of the sector in the face of new global challenges.
Additional topics may be submitted for review by the scientific committee.
